Eyeglass Necklaces & Chains

While Strands eyeglass chains aren’t the least expensive, they are the best. Here’s why:

They’re distinctive, elegant, and handcrafted; each is made with high quality materials.

Because eyeglass chains get extra wear & tear (glasses on, glasses off...) we make them sturdy so they won’t break.

We don’t skimp on materials. The design is carried all the way around making them attractive from all angles.

They are finished at both ends with lobster claw clasps for easy removal.

We have two styles of chains, the Necklace Style (below left), and the Original Style (below right).

The rings we use in the Necklace Style will fit most glasses, but not all. Please see our Info & Help section for information on measuring your glasses if they have thick temples.

Necklace Style
Original Style

The lobster claw clasps are attached to a ring as shown above. When not wearing your glasses, hook them into the ring. With this style, nothing is attached to the glasses while you're wearing them. Each lobster claw clasp is attached to a clear rubber loop. The rubber loop fits onto the temple as shown above. The cinch coil on the loop can be moved to tighten the loop against the temple. With this style, the chain stays attached to the glasses while you're wearing them.
